Here is another comparison for you. I think the mag handles work much better over the thin handles, even though the blade is thicker. The mags are thinned down enough in the dips to allow for a good grip. :eek:








 
The distal taper on these new ones looks real good. :thumbup: Here's hoping I get my first one today...

Looks like Urban Gray/Black Canvas Mags to me. DC should be a much smoother finish. Still looks sweet though.

I'm psyched to see this model in hand. I didn't think I was going to like it that much, but it's looking sweet in the pics.
 
All these sweet ASHes are driving me up the wall. I won't have mine for a good while yet. Sucks! Anyone have a DC and tan mag yet that they can post pics of, to ease my suffering somewhat?

I dont know about everyone else....but I am carrying mine in a kydex sheath. Its thick and my LE will get a leather one. I am thinking about ordering a special HOG edition leather sheath with Barrabacon on it for my HOG edition.....but I am not sure yet.

Nope, like mike biz guessed, it is urban grey with black canvas mag handles.
 
Oh my goodness!

One of mine came today and it's un freaking believable.

I was worried the mags might be to large with such a thick blade but I can't believe how comfortable the grip is .

Unbelievable.

May just replace my BATAC...can't believe I said that.

Yikes, my DC Black and Tan Magnum handle ASH I is .333" thick. It is a BEAST!!! 1 lb. 6.5 oz. Sorry no photos yet, will get some later. Very very nice though. This has got to be one of my FAVS!!! This was a surprise, didn't expect this one, this fast. Love it, though....

I have to concur.

Lunde, those pics are great as usual and they make me long for my DC blades to arrive. It is cool to see the differences between the standard and mag slabs on them. I am surprised to see that the standard slabs have some palm swells and they aren't completely flat. If my mags prove too thick, I now know that the standards will at least have some contour to them.

These mags do not feel too large at all. This blade mics out at .324 inches and feels great. Like many others I was worried it would be too thick but that is not the case at all. Nice knife.

No,the mags do feel very nice. However, IMO, the standards also feel very good! These are not like the Hell Razors were --- mostly due to the super fat INFI between the slabs, but also as Progunner suggested -- the regulars do have a slight swell to them :thumbup:

they're both winners for my long thin hands :D
