Mine showed up, Black/Black standard scales. I really like it !

I didn't like the SE I've got, when I pick it up, I want to choke back on the handle, my pinky winds up on the beak.

The CG fits my hand really well, and I have a more neutral grip. The handle is ~ .100 thicker than the SE, and there is some shaping to it.

Not sure if it's the handle thickness or the EXTRA weight. The SE weighs 434 grams (15.3oz) the CG is 593 grams (20.9oz) delta is 159 grams (5.6oz) but I like the balance of the CG much better.

Can't wait to compare the LE, same thickness as the SE with mag handles and the HOG special, .32 with mags !

Should be interesting.

I think this one will wear well and look great even as she gets some use. And in the end - if desired - stripping her will look great too ;)

The only thing I hate about getting a new blade is not having a sheath for it yet. :(
 
I am beginning to feel like the red headed step child here, but I did wait some weeks to make my decision. Good things come to those who wait and it makes the INFI sweeter.

Keep the pics coming guys, seeing the different combos is always cool.

Chuddy looked like he was tooled up and producing ASH sheaths.
 
Looks like I'll be getting 2 sheaths then. :D

Of course I have to beat on my ASH first to make sure I a worthy to wield it. :D
 
If I get released from daddy duty early enough I am running to the store to grab some lumber. I need to see how these things chop. I have to know.

And people complain here when it gets into the 30s. :rolleyes: But I love the cold. Perhaps not -5 degree cold however.

Yup. Mine looks like Ham Solo's. Pretty, but I'm still not sure it's the right fit for me. The weight is great for chahpin, but I'm still thinking the CS hand-worked handles on the ASH1 and SFNO are better handles.

I'd like to feel some mags, but I suspect they will be TOO contoured. These are just a smidge thin. Maybe it won't be an issue when hacking down the back 40. I dunno. It's a bit cold and frozed to find out now. But to be sure which is best, I'm gonna have to beat on a CS ASH1, CG ASH1 and a CS SFNO. Hope I can find that much wood to hack up.
