Post your FAT ASH1 here!

FINALLY - Arrived today. DC with black canvas mags. This is my first full size Busse boys and girls and i couldn't be happier. I was worried too that the mags would be overkill on this thick steel but it really is amazing comfortable. Kept jumping into my hand all night (wife thinks i'm nuts).
Anyhow - some pics. Wishing a speedy delivery for all of you still waiting by the letter box.

It finally warmed up to -5 here after getting stuck between -40 and -22 since boxing day. :grumpy:

Very nice. I was wondering what the Black/Tan grips would look like. I like it!! I do like the Olive Drab Blade, looks great with Tan. I like the Olive because its a "Flat" coating, not crinkle. I thinks thats the only one that is finished that way??
 
I need some help posting photos here from PhotoBucket. I try to post pictures from shots I saved under "my pictures", but if I try to use one that I have used here on the forum before, it does not allow me to.
I then saved them on PhotoBucket, but I don't know how to insert them in this message area.
I write my message in this box, click "go advanced", click "manage attachments". What next? Do I put them in the box "upload from my PC", or Upload from URL? OR do I just paste the link in this box, where I am typing right now, the Message box? I'm not real savvy at this, so simple details would help. Thanks so much, in advance. regards, Tom C.
 
Not to hijack the thread but how are the orders being shipped? I ordered a DC with blk mag canvas and a LE on the first day they went up, 12-02-07. Are they breaking up individual orders? Meaning will I receive my DC/blk canvas mags now and then my LE at a later date, or will I receive both, it and the LE, together when the LE's are ready to ship?

I'm emailing Busse to find out but won't receive a reply until Monday. I just thought one of you Hogs might know.

Barrabas, yes its the OD and the Tan Mags. I really like this OD. I see it with the Black G-10 and I like that, also. I like the color, and its a Flat coating, not crinkle.

THERE ARE 3 PLACES ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BLADE(OTHER SIDE OF LOGO) WHERE THE COATING IS NOT NORMAL(LOOKS SMUDGED)-

It's not BAD--but on a knife of this quality--I was shocked to see it there at all..

I tried to Photograph it--Hard to do.

I DO NOT THINK I COULD EVER RE-SELL IT AS MINT-AS IF YOU PAID ME FOR A MINT KNIFE AND I SENT THIS TO YOU--YOU WOULD NOT THINK IT WAS MINT.

I have no intention of re-selling---.

Knife feels great in hand--Damn Glad I got the standard G-10 Grips and not Magnum.

Even my 109lb wife likes the ASH-1 grips better than the Magnum Hell Razor grips.So if you have smaller hands--get the Standard grips.

Is the finish problem common to combat grade Busse's???

I'm in the same boat...except I was within the first 8 hours or so.

They seem to be going out in 'pieces and parts' based on the Lunde's comments.
