Mykel, that belt hawk is just awesome! Any idea of the weight on that? How does it chop?

The weight on this one is 1lb 4 ozs.,but with the added head length John's doing them in nowadays & micarta or G10 for scales I imagine they're closer to 24ozs.

I finally sent it off to John for a re-handling yesterday.
I was beating it through a too big log last year & broke off a chunk of the left side scale.:o

here is a pic of most mine. I do love me some hawks. I also have a grans small forest axe which is an amazing pack axe for sure and so useful!!
