Had this idea while browsing on here. As im obsessed with learning about knives and the like.
So here goes.
Post pics of what you consider your favorite high performance knife. And why.
I love seeing what people consider High performance. Whether is extreme edge holding, or toughness, or a great slicer. To seeing what the next super steel is, and how you like it in your knife. Or anything that you consider a performance blade.
So my favorite high performance knife (that i have made) would be my ETT machete.
CPM 3V 59-60HRC.
They are convex ground and fill the role of both a chopper and a machete while being quite light. The first version i made was my favorite (no pics unfortunately)

The blade consistently exudes toughness and edge holding. Not that it needs to do any crazy abrasive cutting but its impressive nonetheless

My next favorite knife was my Squatchboxx Conquest
0.116 Z-Wear @61-62HRC
It had a very high saber grind and came out really cool.
The edge holding was quite a bit better than 3V, but its toughness at that hardness was insane. Especially for such a thin blade. I really loved it and definitely was blown away with how it handled, and how it performed.
