So I recently sold my small 21 with macassar ebony inlays and I REGRET it!! I miss it terribly. So much so that I MUST start the search for a new one. I find Honduran Rosewood appealing but I don't know if CRK still uses it and I'd like to see what else is out there before commiting. I was hoping that my BF friends could help me out by posting your favorite inlaid sebenzas... good opportunity to proudly show off your faves. Thanks in advance!!

I got a box elder burl small 21 about a week ago. Amazing knife

Here's mine.

Top one looks great with the damascus blade. Is that Honduran Rosewood on the three in the middle?? I found a photo of a Honduran Rosewood inlay with ladder damascus on a dealer's website, unfortunately they are "out of stock".

Yes, all four in the middle are the Rosewood.

I do love that Damascus blade. My first and just got it Friday. I didn't know you can actually feel the texture in the blade.

I'm really liking that Rosewood. Great collection, thank you.

Here are my two. I posted them the other day on another thread, but I'm postin' 'em again!

I'm not much of a photographer, sorry about that. Now I'm hoping to start picking up some of the current models.

Wow! What type of woods are those? The one on the right looks very unique, got a greyish almost blue hue to it.

Thanks. I love these two (had to lie, cheat, and steal to pay for them). The left is Box Elder Burl, but it's much more orange than most I've seen. The right-hand one is Spalted Maple. The lighting wasn't very good in this pic, but I think it has more black in it than most of the CRK Spalteds I've seen. Here is a more accurate one.

Never would have guessed box elder on the first it looks darker than others i've seen and i've never even heard of spalted, i like it. This is exactly why i stared this thread, just learned something new. Both look great!

If grey is what you like, google for pictures of "Annual Buckeye Burl". Some of those are really dark-grey looking in the pictures. Dunno if it's dyed that way or what and I haven't seen one in person, but plan to track one down someday.

Not sure if I should post this Shadow! Two Macassar Ebony Sebs (I'm looking for a Mnandi version). Ignore the cheesy leather lanyard - I was desperate for something quick and it will be replaced. The plan is to send both of them in for gold double studs as soon as i get my tax return.

I was actually going to PM you and request that you post the pair together!!! I'm glad you did, nice looking pair. I'm being positive by thinking that that small was destine to be paired with a big brother. It's also an opportunity for me to explore other options. I'm now looking for a grailish knife... A honduran rosewood with ladder damascus... But i still miss that one.

What is that handle-less fixed blade in the lower right hand corner? Looks like a Bark River...

Yup, Bravo 1 in D2. Its a project knife for backpacking. Ive pretty much destroyed its value, but it still works like a champ!
