Post your lighter & knife combo

I am not a regular smoker, though I do enjoy a fine cigar and a good pipe even more so. However, I always carry a lighter on me, just a habit I got into rather early on in life. Growing up on a farm saw me burning a lot of stuff and seeing that I camp a lot too, it is an indispensable tool. I used to just carry a Bic because they were cheap, lasted awhile, and were durable. Though I still have Bics strewn about my pack, my house, and vehicles, I carry a Zippo in my pocket now.

I typically carry the brass Zippo. I put a butane torch insert in it. Not only is it great for cigars now, it doesn't evaporate like Zippo fuel has a tendency to do. I still like the old school Zippo insert and fuel though, so I got a second Zippo that I have left stock. For some reason, I have been carrying both lately...

Which brown (walnut?) Case is that? And if you ever want to part with ol' Red there let me know. Just sayin'.:D:eek:

It is a Case 11031 and it is my understanding that the covers are indeed Walnut. I have a couple of them and would not hesitate to pick up more should I come across them, they are fantastic knives and if I could be assured that Case quality mirrored that which I see in these 60's and 70's vintage knives, I 'd buy a lot more Case. The walk and talk is superb with a pull that is nice and stout and it is simply a terrific size and shape to carry/use.

I'm afraid that little ol' Red there is a keeper... ;)

Here some of my favorite lighters, pictured with the #25 I have in my pocket today. My dad bought the Zippo for me when I was 13 or 14. It was matte black, but over the years the finish started wearing/flaking off, and I eventually just removed it all. I've had the IM Corona for 10 or 12 years now, and it's my go-to pipe lighter (though I smoke cigars more often than a pipe these days). The Xikar double torch is, of course, my cigar lighter.
