Work in progress - Willow fish trap. If you look over my right shoulder, you will see the frame of a wickiup we stayed in, back in September.

Primitive lighting - Birch bark on the left and Cherry bark on the right. BTW, Cherry bark can burn better than what the picture suggests. (The owner of the house was out of work, so the insurance payout was looking quite attractive.)

Let's see... Yup, here we go.

I'm wearing a homemade MercHarness with a little Buck Diamondback in a Duck-tape-modified sheath here.

That's a Ranger RD7 I'm holding in these last two.

Man, I needed a haircut in these pictures, didn't I? Anyway, that's me, dressed warmly and not stylishly. I hope y'all can excuse my ugliness. :D

Me and Hannah playing on my grandads property in Mississippi. The pond there is just below the cabin. I love the pic of her running.

I see you believe in travelling light !!!!

LOL! You got me there! :o

What can I say? Five days at 6,000 feet elevation with temps dropping into the mid-thirties fahrenheit - a little extra gear makes camp-life a bit more comfortable. It was my honeymoon after all! :D
