Where can I get my hands on some of those beautiful wood scales?

How do the wood scales hold up in the field?

I found Luke at Cuscadi to be great to deal with.
This Para 2 doesn't get used in the field so to speak, I have other folders for that. I'm fairly gentle with it, it's part of my leisure/gentleman's folder rotation. It doesn't feel fragile at all during normal use, though when fitting the scales you sure get a sense of a thin breakable wafer of wood. The wood is smooth and doesn't grip the pocket like the G10 does. It clips in securely enough, though I would be less confidant of that in more active situations. If I carry a Para 2 for more serious usage it's the black S30V or the Elmax.
 
Got a leather strop set for Christmas and it's already working wonders on my edges :)
