Well like the title says, show us your pimped mules!

If possible give us details on what the hardware is, who did it, etc.

I wouldnt call this "Pimped" but they were my first attempt at making scales. I used an 8CR mule incase i messed up. It is black/grey micarta with a stainless steel rod cut for the pins.

David did a great job on those scales. I have one of his dragon drop points in elmax. I'm going to send him my elmax mule and let him do something like that on it.

Yes, he did do a great job. I have a Dragon Drop Point in Elmax as well :D I can say without a doubt Elmax is some tough stuff!

Heck yea, easily one of my favorite steels.

Jtoler_9 those mules are really nice, I really like the wood on the 3rd one.

My first Mule, black and gray G-10, red micarta and black tex-tuff, blue liners, and brass corbies. It's not even left to right, so I may take it apart and do it over.

My second Mule, Cruwear with barbwire micarta scales and micarta tube.

My Elmax Mule is in the works right now, with OD green micarta and brown micarta pins. What I don't like about this one is that the large holes that were exactly 3/8" on the Cruwear are a hair or two larger. Created extra work but it's going to work out fine. I just have to finish shaping and polishing.

I've posted this elsewhere, but this is an M390 mule with G10, ironwood & mosaic pins. Work done by Philip Dobson to complement the Custom Shoppe Busse.

I have a question, how do you post photos like that without the link? because whenever i try to put a picture on all it does is give the link but not show the picture?

If you upload the photo to an image hosting site such as Photobucket, they will give you a line of code with IMG tags to copy and paste into your post here. The IMG tags are what make the picture appear as a picture rather than a link. You can click on "Reply with quote" on this post to see what you need to look for.

Pix of my Elmax Mule. Handles are green micarta. There's a grayish layer in it that I haven't seen in other green micarta. The pins are brown micarta. I sanded from 100 to 2000 grit, then buffed with black, brown, red, and white compounds using a Dremel tool. Unlike my Cruwear Mule, with its 3/8" diameter large holes exactly, the large holes in the Elmax are about two hairs larger. The micarta pins are exactly 3/8", so to make everything even, I used the smaller holes and made little locator pins. Worked like a charm.

Here are a few of mine - I only have pics of a few of them on photobucket right now. I also posted pics of my new cocobolo Elmax mule on another thread.
