anyone hear anything about "The Dragon Splitter"? new Becker/Hibben fantasy knife collab.. i can't wait!
 
Its not a Fantasy knife if Ethan is involved, by god if hes making a Dragon Splitter, that means theres dragons around to split.
 
Because of the lack of them in todays world, I heard Ethan was designing a new BKCleaver. 1/2" thick stock, tapering down to 1/4" at the front tip, fullsize Becker handle so micarta can be used as an accessory item, & obligatory hanging hole in upper front tip. Sheath will probably suck though.

Based on all of the complaints about the sheath, and looking at the success of Busse, Ka-bar will be introducing their version of the sheath that comes stock with a Busse blade, in hopes of reducing the complaints. In order to cover the obvious costs associated with such a project, they'll also be quintupling the prices on all Beckers.

A bearded cleaver.... I am in awe.


But what's ACTUALLY going to happen is Ka-bar will be releasing a matching 1095CV spoon and fork (no, not a spork) so that y'all can stop carving new utensils every time you eat outside. Imagine the man-hours that will be saved! I can't wait to see Clich's soup patinas.

I thought I saw someone wearing some Becker inspired tactical chopping attire? No?? Maybe it was Lynn Thompson in my dream last night.

Really thought I would wear a BKT designed onesie. I've always been jealous of infant and toddler clothing.
 
They will announce the becker bk18 the "Tweenarrrgh" - It's a smaller becker blade shaped like a cutlass.
Mr Becker said the first production run will be exclusive to disney stores and will come with a free salty eyepatch!

I heard it's going to be the new BK-1000 named the BK Tactical. 10" blade, American tanto tip, half serrated blade, with serrations on the spine with jimping right behind them that's not actually functional, just for the tactical looks. They're offering it in "high carbon steel". Folding knife with deep carry pocket clip, Axis-lock knock-off, spring assisted, Ti handles with rubber inserts for grip, all oxide coated. 1/2" thick stock, hollow ground to a chisel grind edge. Ambidextrous thumb studs. Free pair of ninja stars with the first 100 purchases. Nylon sheath that's a bit too small in case the pocket clip carry isn't your style. Oh and the bottom of the scales holds a tooth pick and tweezers. Included pamphlet holds instructions on batoning through plywood in your garage, and how to whip the blade out with a flick of the wrist (after loosing the pivot screw to the point of unbelievable blade play) in front of your friends to show how quickly you can deploy it should you ever find yourself attacked by assasins while camping. $19.99 online. All Becker knives will now be made in surgical stainless for ease of sharpening
 
I heard several.
A solid gold 9 with a cane body for the sheath and a diamond encrusted pommel, a sheath with an integrated sharpener (carbide, ceramic, grinding wheel, belt grinder, hand finish or strop in various compounds available) a bkWatch for tactically telling the tactical time, a bk4 folder with wave and assisted opening mechanisms, and a bkAxe with a bkSaw stowed in the tactical ergonomic handle. of course you could get them all (save for the bk9Cane [the bkPimp]) in a collector's set complete with display case for 6 easy payments of 19.95, while supplies last.
