as much as I want to love the PM2, Superleaf and Tenacious but I find myself never carrying them. Color me crazy. The Caly jr is semi retired as it was my first, most carried and most used. Missed all the Sprints of them. Stretch, Delica and Dragonfly ....mmm yummay!
 
You're not crazy at all. My Delica was my first and has been most carried. PM2 was 2nd, and I rarely put it in my pocket anymore. Love my Delica, Endura, Tasman and Dragonfly. Stretch and Native (both FRN) come eventually. If the Caly had FRN, I'd already have one of those, too. :) I also gave my dad a brown Tenacious for X Mas, and It's my least favorite thus far. Something about it doesn't sit quite right.
 
New member to the forum here. Recently got my first Spyderco about a month ago, the Tenacious. For $35 and made in China it's a hell of a knife! With that much quality from such a cheap knife, I figured the US made models would be pretty amazing. Wasn't disappointed :). Now the happy owner of a Manix 2, and two Paramilitary 2's (one formerly a green digi-camo, and the other an all black). Gave the Tenacious to my dad as he doesn't use knives that often but needed a simple work knife. Trying to decide if I like the Manix ball bearing lock or the PM2 compression lock more...

Looks like the all black one you got is one of the limited couple hundred that got the coarse G10 that was kind of a mistake. Spyderco let folks know about it a few weeks back. I think it's cool and some people like the more coarse G10. I do.
