Post your Spyder Pics

No new knives, just new pics of the whole bunch together in one shot. I am happy that I managed to capture some of the swirls in the Mother of Pearl in the Cricket and Kiwi this time. I always found that tough to do.

Few shots of my CF Para. Next up is taking some of my new Blue Para and procuring an orange Para.

Hey everyone! I recently added a couple of Paras to my collection, and I'm getting much closer to having a complete set. To be accurate - I'm missing exactly ONE catalog number. I took some photos this morning of my collection and have attached them below. (I left out a couple of my duplicate models.) The knives are arranged in the order they were released by Spyderco (or pretty close anyway) going counterclockwise.

Can anyone pick out which model is missing?

Trick question, actually. The model missing is the satin blade black g-10 Para1. However, there were several other variants and limited issues that are out there that don't necessarily have different catalog numbers. A good example is the serrated D2 Sprint Para1. A few of these were released by the factory - but I don't know much about their back story, but I haven't found a record of a "C81FGS" anywhere. I've seen a picture of one, so I know they exist. There are also quite a few CQI improvements that have worked their way into the line over the past few years. One example is the first C81GP model. Mine has the "dino jimping" on the spine and a smooth choil. Spyderco later changed this to the more modern jimping style that you see in the Para2 model. Again, these improvements don't result in new catalog numbers...

Fascinating topic, eh?

This is an awesome knife. I don't think it gets enough love, frankly. I know the shape is probably pretty polarizing, but lets be real... anyone posting on a knife forum probably owns knives that aren't 100% designed to their NEEDS so much as they are simply cool...
