Just liked this EDC Spyderco Tenacious and saw others mod like this and did it. Not my first spyderco and not worried about warranties.

The pictures don't really do the scales justice. I was torn about whether to go with plain tumbled titanium, but I'm glad I went with the anodizing, because it's just amazing. I haven't decided whether to go with the plain or the black pocket clip; I like the look of the plain one, but I prefer the black for when I'm actually carrying it.

Haha! I am a graduate student and I do a lot of light scattering measurements. In the picture above I am measuring the diameter of some nanoparticles in a dilute solution via a method called dynamic light scattering.

I am with you on the pocket clip issues. I like black for carrying it more discretely, but that satin looks a lot better.
