Post your Spyder Pics

This is my latest Mule project - I put some Karelian Birch scales on the new XHP Mule. I understand why so many Scandinavian knives use Birch for their scales - the material is drop-dead gorgeous, it is fantastic to work with, it is relatively light weight while being tough as nails. Great stuff. It worked very easily, responded well to shaping with files, and finished out nicely with sandpaper. It wasn't chippy or splintery - but you can probably see that there are several very voids in the dark spots. None of these voids caused any chip outs or other problems, and they sealed up nicely. I finished the birch with about 15 thin coats of Tru-Oil with a top coat of RenWax.

Cheers!

Hmmmm...looking through this thread, I think the Manix 2 XL is going to go on my list.

I just got this one and am so far pretty pleased with it.

I finally bought one of the Spyderco pewter lanyard beads, the less expensive square one. I saw them at the Blade Show Spyderco booth last year and added them to my *wish* list. Shown attached to my Delica with a couple of two-strand stopper knots.

This was my first year in collecting, and I guess it's safe to say I've caught the bug ;)

Love 'em all so far -- although I'm thinking I'd like to trade the Leafstorm.. maybe for a GB Air. Not sure how to go about it.

I originally received this from a member here, and there were lots of scratches on the blade from sharpening and attempts at reprofiling.
Just got this back from SoLo. He rounded the spine and the sharp edges around the jimping, sterilized and blasted the blade, and finished the flats in satin.

It's Christmas again! These 3 just arrived, they traveled a long way from the US to Canada to Europe but they're finally here!

The military is surprisingly light, love the Yojimbo it went straight to my pocket and I wanted a Police since the early 90's so I am a happy man :)

Check this old thing out. Found it in a drawer a few days ago.

Its an Endura, circa 1994.

This knife, I believe was the first real tactical folder.

Sorry for the bad pic
