Very nice effect well done, i would be interested to know how you achieved it.

The stripes were achieved by applying hot glue to the knife before dying. I got the idea from another forum member. Here's the link to the thread.

Here's a pic of the handle after I applied the glue.



And here's one after it was dyed, but before the glue was removed.



Most of the glue came off easily, but there were a few stubborn spots that were difficult to completely remove the glue.
