How do you like the kiwi 4?

How do you like the kiwi 4?

Kiwi 4 is quite a slick design. But, for me, it'll mostly be a supplemental carry knife to back up another (I often carry a pair of knives at any given time, usually differing in size and blade style).
It is somewhat dainty, I guess you could say.
But definitely a fine cutter and slicer. The finger positioning and grip takes a second to get used to for me, but lead to a delicate and precise operation (your thumb and index finger are gripped very close together in a pinch position).
Great with most of the fruit that I'll cut up and eat.

This is an ace combo right here that covers the bases nicely.

(Whoops I forgot a Native in that grouping)

The Ouroboros is a great design. I think it has classic Spyderco written all over it.
But, it is unique enough to where some will love it (myself), but others may not find its structured grip is for them (often the case for those users who dislike a prominent choil).
I was a little worried about having a finger so close to the blade, but it isn't an issue so far. Even when occassionally flicking the knife.
Action is solid and clean, construction on mine is prime choice. Some have complained or wondered about the stainless backspacer, but I like it. Seems to balance the knife well, and gives a clean spot for the clip and lanyard tube to mount to.
Size is great for a standard EDC daily task cutter and slicer. Carries great in my rear or front pocket edge.
Going to continue using and carrying for awhile and see how it stacks up, but this one might really fight for a spot in my pocket against my favorite Caly!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm glad your liking it, and happy to hear some positive feedback as I was really drawn to the design when I first saw it. I'm diggin' the stainless backspacer as well. I think it kind of classes it up a bit. Actually, it makes me want to make a stainless backspacer for one of my FRN Spyders! Thanks again!

Feeling a little blurple tonight ..😉
