A great pair of blades right there! Love the scales on the Manix, the look super grippy! How are the ergos on the Shaman in comparison to the Manix? They appear to be quite similar in size and shape, but I've not yet had a chance to handle a Shaman.
 
Today I witnessed something quite spectacular. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes. I was minding my own business on the back deck. When suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the bright orange colour of the rare and majestic Spyderhawk! It's believed that there's only about 1200 left in the wild today. They're not commonly spotted around here. Furthermore, its even less common to photograph them. And not only did I see it, I got to witness it sneaking up and preying on it's favorite snack... The Dragonfly! It was an unfortunate day for the Dragonfly. I however, feel very lucky to have witnessed such an event!
