Post your Spyder Pics

My Spydies so far...

Waved Endura with Glock Tool
Tasman Salt
Karambit

I'd like to add a Civilian, Byrd Crossbill, SPOT, and maybe a Police. The Manix would be great but I'm not holding my breath.

Shots de Le Perrin.............:D

The non-Spyderco ones are genuine Fred Perrins accumulated over the last 18 months, I have a long way to go before I'm happy with this collection.............clockwise from the top, Perrin with CF handles, ditto with Cocobolo handles, ditto with Grey/Blue Micarta and finally Light Blue G-10...........apart from the Grey/Blue all are Drop Point blades ala Perrin with the former having a Modified Tanto blade.

The two Spyderco collabs are, of course, the Street Beat on the bottom, the one that started me off with my Perrin obsession and diagonally across the group, what is commonly called the Green Perrin that was on VERY limited distribution albeit I have seen a number offered recently for VERY decent prices.

A nice shot of both the Street Beat and the Tanto Blade...........

This is what I call my Collection Shots........Top and Bottom sides.........

The latest Military's and Para's all grouped for a Family shot..........I've got a long way to go before I get the rest but after 6 months of dillying and dallying I decided to go this route rather than the Endura's and Delica's............all of my latter are now sold or traded apart from two....I tend to keep one of each type I have bought as a momento.

The locking arrangements interest me between the Military and the Paramilitary, why the Military is underneath and the Para is on top is curious to me considering the handle is the same ergonomic design?

The knife to the right is the Para, the other two are Military's of course.......

First impressions, it took a long time getting here but boy it was worth waiting for, I may well have to buy another one or two of these to use one and give the other away to a good friend of mine.............highly recommended.............:D

The ergonomics are superb and quality also superb.........needless to say it's also as sharp as anything!!!

Here's my first two Spyderco's (aside from a Byrd)

Just opened them up today. They were pretty stiff, but I've been playing with them all day, and they're starting to loosen up. They feel great, and I'm super super impressed with the feel from the Native.

What's that material on the handles?

The stuff is called 'overgrip' and is usually wrapped over the original handles of tennis racquets to prevent slipping or to fatten small handles. It is lightweight, has a tacky feel, gives a nice amount of traction and doesn't slip even when it absorbs sweat. Also comes in nice colors :)
