Testing the photo attachment system.. here's a shot of me at the May Day picnic with my favourite knife. I'll tell ya, bread and herring don't stand a chance against a Manix! :D

Size comparison of a Military and a Busse SAR4. Both have BIG, comfy, handles.

First impressions, it took a long time getting here but boy it was worth waiting for, I may well have to buy another one or two of these to use one and give the other away to a good friend of mine.............highly recommended.............:D

The ergonomics are superb and quality also superb.........needless to say it's also as sharp as anything!!!

Regards,

BRIAN

what a great looking knife!

Just joined the Spyderco club this week.

Scored an old Military. ATS34, G10, single nested liner. Fully serrated.

Love it. Got it in trade for a sword blade.
Once I get the right rize Torx bits, I'm going to take her down and give her a proper cleaning and oiling. The action is a tiny bit stiff, but I can fix that.
Definitely planning to replace the backspacer with Titanium, like what one guy did. Now to find 4mm Titanium flatstock...

I'd love to get my hands on a Native, but none of the models have exactly what I want. If they'd make the Native IV with the older style blade, I'd be happy(I like the carbon fiber handle, and especially its ability to be switched to TIP-DOWN carry, and I like the older style blade as oppose to the fully flat-ground).

PM answered.

For anyone else interested, the round medallion is a "talisman to attain riches". Googling that phrase should bring up several images that show the symbol on the reverse.

The rectangular necklace is my "maker's mark" so to speak. It is twisted copper and brass wire inlayed into steel.

Never got your PM HolyRoller. I appreciate you being so quick to respond. Try my email @ Liveitloud1@yahoo.com

Thanks again.

Nevermind HolyRoller I found one. I found several actually. Grabbed one on Ebay. I appreciate your help.

My pleasure.

On an odd note, the day after buying it I found a small wad of cash on the ground. The amount totaled to exactly the price I paid for the necklace plus my ticket to see Transformers.
