Sure coating is cool. But when it all wears off it's nice to know INFI strippers look real "nice" (Borat voice). Hear's my BATAC and Heavy Duty. Great users.

Post your nekkid INFI if you have any! :D

I'll post my Crash Axe when I put about 15 more hours into it. It's the only one I've attempted, and getting down past the dimples on the SR-77 is a lot of work. Did your INFI satin out easy? They look great.

Thanks. As you can see I didn't bother getting rid of the dimples. These two were easy.

(1) Step 1: apply stripper.
(2) Step 2: wipe off coating.
(3) Step 3: use a scotch-brite drill attachment to satin out the blade.
(4) Step 4: polish spine.

That's it. 30 minutes work. These two were real easy. Not much to clean up.

PLEASE post pics of your Crash Rat when you finish. That sounds awesome. ;)

What does the stripper do to the handles? I know Micarta is supposed to be impervious to chemicals. Just wanted to ask...

Here's a little GW that got stripped (it actually started as a double cut, but was so beat up i decided to satin finish it  )

LOL, that always comes up... It's original, just a bad angle on the pic. It's a very rough cut and natural piece of sheephorn -- wish i could get them to do some more like it, in INFI...

I see now. That rough horn is cool.

In the first pic, because you can't see the rest of the scale, it looked like you'd gotten it to close to a hot electrical wire and KAPLOOEY!

Thanks for that it sounds so easy even a Caveman can do it.
