Moose, brother... I live to go fishing. What i did not know is that it was the first of 4 that size that day. We caught a few more during the week around a 100 lb but this bad boy was the biggest. i caught that "shiner" on a shimano butterfly jig vertical jigging near Coiba Island Panama in about 120 ft of water. I wont be going back there until April. I cant wait....

It was a 12 round fight. he knocked me down twice. I had to take a break... it was a 1:20 hour fight :thumbup:

So do I. I have been going there since the early 80's. I bought a 300 acre farm in the Chiriqui area and I'm getting a place on the ocean near David the first part of 2011.

My family thought I was crazy for going there. Then my brother and his wife took a two week trip to Panama to check it out. Six months later they moved there and haven't been back to the US since. That was 15 years ago. Yes, it is a great place.

Nice catch by the way. I do alot of fishing there myself along with some great jungle hiking. I am going to move there for good towards the end of 2011.
