As a businessman he sucked @$$, as a sole authorship knifemaker
this one is as nice(fit and finish wise) as anything I've seen.

Holy Bejebus!! There are some FINE looking knives on display in this thread.

Doug C - That Steve Filicietti sheath(especially) is a real eye catcher.

Bigblue,

Thanks, I agree. Steve was a saddlemaker before he started making knives.

^^^ This was an entry to the old Knife Photo contest we used to have weekly on The Knife Network forum. It was a breakthrough for me, as I after I had a BUNCH of (losing) entries, this particular image got the popular vote.

From there I got a taste of 'greatness' and pursued things further. :) (Overlook that it's not an actual dagger. Hey, I was a n00b.)

Found this one on the Arizona Custom Knives site... Made out of a Quarter.

Looks hard to make, not sure where the idea even comes from. Who's sitting in front of their change jar thinking, "I wonder if I can make a folding knife out of that?"

Here's a fancy one from Rex Robinson. The knife is great, but it also reminds me that if you want to be a dealer selling $4000 knives, you need to learn to take good pictures.
