Posting photos

I am new to selling knives on this site. I’ve posted 3 so far. I am using an IPhone S7 to photograph and post. I do not have a laptop. Unfortunately, I’ve tried uploading photos and snapping photos but when they get uploaded 99% of the time it messages me with Error. Your photo is too large to upload. I’ve even tried to take photos first and then import them. Neither works. Any suggestions how to post photos. Thank you

You could try emailing photo to yourself and before sending, select a smaller size.

After you receive the email, save that one to your photos and use the smaller one.

(This may also work with texting the photo to yourself, not sure.)

Photos need to be 1,600 x 1,200 pixels or less, and can be no larger than 500kB, or they will not upload directly to BF.

Are you using an Apple iPhone 7, or a Samsung Galaxy S7? No such thing as an iPhone S7...

You can either take the photos in lower quality mode to fit into the above listed specs, or use an app to reduce their size after taking them. Alternatively, you can also sometimes take a screenshot of the photo to reduce its size, though most phones these days have displays larger than 1,600 x 1,200, so that won't necessarily work. Finally, the option that Annr listed above also works for other people.
