posting pictures

Now I don't have a Pro account on this now a 3rd try (sorry for taking up space!)

The first two attempts were chosing the icon of the globe for URL

The third attempt was chosing the pictire icon. Hence the little empty box.

So, I can't get Flickr to help here.
Is it the not having a Pro account?

Anybody know if dropBox works like Photobucket?

What way can Flickr be used to get pics on the page?
Or, only possible with a Pro account? Does that cost money as a premium account?

I figure besides me other members have not yet figured out how it is done.

I guess PhotoBucket........
Since I am not seeing the share option of BBcode as mentioned.
Any help would be appreciated.
 
Not to add but in the hope to help....
Should photos meant to be shared here exist in the album Public on flickr?
Or can I create an album then make the selected photos public?
 
That would be from an ipad.
The ap as well.
I haven't tried the Safari browser or my windows labtop


I can see the arrow for "share" in the options no BBcode per say, just copy link.
Which I then pasted using the globe (no pic window at all)
Then pasted into the little portrait icon, hence the small empty box.

Which is really all I've ever been able to get using other places like brop box and imgur

So it is getting down to the wire for me.
 
I actually feel pretty dumb bcuz many folks obviously post pics.
I wish there was a BladeForums ap that got right into the camera roll in the ipad.

Anyone have sucess using an ipad to navigate this picture problem?
 
If you click on this link, I just sent myself the email, does it take you out to a fat stag case knife?
When i clicked the link in my email i get flickr ap opening and you know that may not mean much.

I just posted an Imgur app how-to on posting images in another thread if you are interested, I don't use flikr on my phone
 
Ok thanks. Getting a little more indicators on BBcode sharing. But I am going to assume that is the best bet.
A bit confusing to me on flickr on Safari. Like there are more options.
I was just about to go into the help forum.

I will definitely check out imgur because I sorts don't like to get roped into using yahoo email accounts just to use flickr.
 
It's amazing to me, that sites still do not have hosting software built in, especially sites that take money from their members for operation...

The loss of pictures over time as I scroll through threads here is unfortunate...
 
It takes WAY too much server space to host images, each image is more data than most whole threads without any.

I'm new myself and haven't tried posting images yet. Hope you don't mind if I practice posting an image in this thread.
