Posting pix?

I've searched the faq's, but can't seem to find the protocol here for attachments......

Questions:

Do you need to pay someone first before being allowed to post .jpg?

Did I hear that the "knifemaker" label is an extra feature? (not the I would use it, btw!)

Does anyone here use a scanner for their pix, or is everything done with a camera? What size is appropriate?

Is the best method to get another site to host, and then post the url?

Thanks for any advice.......the pix really explain a lot wehn you guys post them, btw!

To upload you have to join the site but you can post an image using a host site. I like the host images better but I do upload some. You can use photobucket.com for free.
