Hi all!
I wanted to build a small kitchen helper that would be good for slicing things like potatoes and such. Being a lover and collector of traditional folding knives, I decided to combine my desire to build the kitchen knife with my love for the very practical spay blade shape. Hence, the Potato Spay was born!
This one is from W2 steel and is different heat treated and then etched to bring out a light hamon. I also tumbled the blade to produce a nice stonewashed finish. The scales are Jade G-10 with a Maroon G-10 pin and four small stainless steel pins as well. The knife is 7.5” in overall length with a 3.25 cutting edge (slightly longer if you consider the curvature of the blade. It is just under 2” wide at its widest point.
The grind is full flat and is quite thin behind the edge and the whole way up for slicing prowess. It’s a new design - I hope you like it!
Price is $100 shipped USA! I accept PayPal F&F, money order or personal check cleared.
Thanks for looking!
Mike
