Thanks a bunch for the compliments guys.

I made this one for a coworker who wanted to take it on a brown bear hunt in AK. He told me he wanted something inbetween a campknife and a skinner but BIG and left the rest to me. This is the shape I came up with. I must admit it grew on me the longer I worked it. Wasn't at all excited about it at first but sad to see it go now. If only I could keep em all! I'm leaving on a Cape Buffalo hunt in 9 days, sure wish I could have carried this one.;)

I figured with the length and weight of the 3/16" O1 blade it would really chop hell outta stuff, and the blade has enough belly that it should still skin and cape a large animal well. Time will tell.

Sweany- Glad you think it looks like a Scagel never thought about it but that's a compliment in itself far as I'm concerned.
Will- I think the fact that it is so different is what won me over. Glad you agree.
Brian and Dave any approval from you guys always means a lot to us greenhorns!
Thanks again,
Matt Doyle
