With the YCS, Sarge and FF projects going on I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a run of HI Katar?

Hell, I'd take 2!

Other Ideas I've had:

Barong
Moro Kris
Espada Y Daga

Cabbit I don't have any real interest in a Katar but the Barong would be of interest!
Especially one with a 15"-16" blade!!!!:D
I enquired at EDMF and received an email back that he didn't know about putting a handle on one but that if I drew him a pic he would see about making one!! :D
Gotta love a place that does business like that!:D Reminds me of HI!!!!:D

Don't know what an Espada Y Daga is but I'll Google it as soon as this is posted to find out.:D ;)

Edit:
Okay, sword and knife or stick and knife. Now I unnerstan.;)
Could be lots of interesting styles with that combo! And something else I might be interested in if it was the right combo.:D

I would be at least mildly interested in any of the above. But they're going to be the Kami's interpretations of the designs. I wonder what they'd make of the separate ganja and single or dual baca-bacas on a vintage moro kris? Would they see the "elephant" area as a cho?

Espada Y Daga refers to short sword and knife. Take a look at the Kris Cutlery web site. They have handmade barongs. I bought a short Japanese sword (wakizashi) and a tanto from them. They are handmade and pretty reasonable. The owner is very helpful, and the two blades that I have are good buys.
I was thinking of a pinuti. It is the long part of the pair that you refer to. It looks really nice on the web site, and I have read good reviews of it.
They differentially temper many of their blades, and you can see the hamon on the two Japanese weapons that I have. They use 5160 steel.

Okay so far:

5 Katar

2 Barong

2 Moro Kris

If we went with the Moro Kris, I would be willing to send over an antique one in my collection for them to copy and Kami it up.

I tend to lean away from from the barong and filipino blades though as Arty said there are already companies like Kris Cutlery and Cas Iberia already making excellent pieces.
