Very nice modifications, is that micarta as scale material or still G10? Anyway, nice blend of a Carnivore handle shape with the Sifu blade! Very cool!

I just did the work myself. Its not that hard w/the right equipment like a grinder of some kind. You have to go slow and be careful not to burn the G10. Also be prepared to follow up w/some hand sanding and such.
Boo-Really nice work. I've read quite a few posts from folks who's hands or fingers didn't fit the grooves on the handle. Your mod makes the Sifu work for everyone. I think I hear some Dremel's this morning...
I DID SOME SIMILIAR WORK ON THE POCKET HOBBIT.I FOUND THAT THE GROOVES INTERFERED WITH THE OPENING SO I GROUND DOWN THE FRONT TWO:RELIEVED THE G10 AT 45 DEGREES ALL THE WAY THRU THE OPENING ARC AND REALLY FELL IN LOVE.I HAVE ALSO FOUND THAT BY REDUCING THE GROOVE HEIGTH IT MAKES IT A HELL OF A SABER GRIP BLADE.BY THE WAY NICE JOB.
