Hi everyone, my name is Peter Pendjurov and this is the first time I am posting something in this forums. I have been making knives for 50 years, I live and work in a small village in the Bulgarian mountains, where I enjoy the outdoors and knifemaking. I have shipped my knives to every continent of the planet. These are two knives I recently finished, the blades are not made by me, but by the famous Danish forger - Poul Strande. More about his work: https://poulstrande.com. I have made many knives with his blades, and it is always a pleasure to work with them.
This knife features 125 mm Damascus blade. I think this is the longest blade I have purchased from Poul. I usually purchase 95mm long blades from him. I tried to choose wood for the handle that will complement the blade patterns. I used a lilac star pattern three, curly birch burl, reindeer antler, red, black, and yellow micarta spacers, and a black water buffalo guard. The sheath is vegetable tanned leather.
