Power Feed For Mill.

Mike, are we missing a picture? The thumbnail I get is of a Jet mill, there is no other picture. Thanks.

Tom, I was referring to the picture in my link in post #6 above. It's now here. Compare that with the picture of my Jet JMD18.

Except for HP rating and table size, it's exact. You can click on the thumbnail to make it bigger, just in case you weren't aware of that.

Call the HF tech(LOL) people and ask if their power feed will fit the mill in the link I left above. If it will work on that, it'll work on the Jet.

Look at the picture in the link above, except for the size of the table, it's identical to the Jet.
I wished I'd of gotten one of the HF's with the larger table(they used to offer that one with the same sized table as the Jet) when I bought my Jet. Would have saved hundreds, + freight.;)

Edited to add: the DRO for depth on the front, and the and vise with speed handle are my aftermarket additions. It didn't come that way.

I have used two similar "looking" knee mills - one from HF the other from Jet. I bought the Jet. They may look the same but they do not perform the same. The Jet is just a better overall machine. I don't know about HF service after the sale but Jet's is excellent. The Chinese are very good at making copies that look like the original product - superficially, at least.

One thing about the Jet though. If you get a DRO (I did) the power feed will not fit also - it's one or the other on the model I bought.
