Power hammer dreams...

I briefly (for 6 months) had a LG 50 lb in my ownership, sat in storage whilst I was figuring out what to do.
For the price I paid, I regret selling it.
During that time, I went to a friend's shop and worked on his LG 50 lb'er
what I learned is that power hammering is another skill to be learned, with practice of course.

It takes me an hour or so to hand forge out some big kitchen knife, less for smaller of course.

It's the handles and finishing that takes me the most time right now.

The only one I saw for sale in person, I stopped bidding at $250 because SWMBO went on a long harangue about bringing nothing else home...

big mistake

Man what a bummer!!!

Earlier this year I was driving through Vernal, NV and I saw a little green mechanical hammer sitting outside a guy’s shop. Of course I stopped and asked if he was interested in selling.
His reply: “You know I should move that thing inside. I only remember it’s there when someone stops to ask about it. I hardly ever use it, but it sure is fun to smash stuff with it. No. I’m not interested in selling it”

Sigh. Dang hoarders.

Dang idiots that leave power hammers and machine tools outside to go to hell.
