I am buying the basic parts of the press. It is incomplete here. He is adding die holders and doing a bit more welding. I'm getting it sooner as I can fabricate the frame myself. The power packs are 5hp 3ph. I have a 15hp rotary phase converter coming to run it.

This is the press Larry made for Mareko Maumasi. This is an expensive build and triple the cost of mine as it has a special power pack cost more than what he is selling these smaller presses for.

Larry knows his stuff. Ive seen a vid of that press working. Love to have a C frame that big.

No not yet. Id build one but circumstances being what they are at the moment I we are in "buy" mode. Which kinda irk's me since Im a welder/fabricator too:rolleyes: Our old shop wont accomidate that kind of build, new shop aint done or tooled up yet..
Still thinking about Al's press a lot. The price is good and its a good working press. Though still holding out to see if anything else pops up.
 
Its hard to beat that price especially if I read shipping right and its only an additional 200$.
