Which material is stronger; brass or bronze?
Are all of these capable of having 550 paracord strung through them?
Thanks.

Well, good question. I guess it depends on what you mean by stronger. I think bronze is harder than brass, but more brittle. They are both pretty similar as they are both copper alloys of 90-95%. If by stronger, you mean scratch resistant, I would have to say bronze. Or if you mean which can stand a heavier load, then brass. I'm not an expert on metallurgy, so if somebody else would like to volunteer an answer - please feel free. None of the beads, or lanterns, are fragile no matter the material. Also, since they are only about an inch, it would be difficult to find them in a situation with enough leverage to bend/break them. Hope that helps. Have a great day!

Actually, that helps quite a bit.
Would you mind posting pictures of the beads next to a ruler or coin so I can get a better sense of scale and size.
Thanks.

Glad I could help!

I actually just dropped a bronze lantern and firesteel holder on the concrete accidentally , probably about a four foot drop. Not a mark on them, but chipped the concrete. More resilient than I expected!

Also, these were all designed with 550 cord in mind so they will all accept it.

My tumblers should be delivered in the next couple of days, so I will be experimenting with finishes and updating the thread.

Here are some pics to help with size comparison:
