Here's a camp knife I made about 2 years ago, but just finished recently:

Steel: 0-1 Tool Steel, hardened to HRC 60. (epoxy coated)

Handle: Natural canvas micarta

Blade thickness: 5/32"

Blade length: 5.5"

Overall length: 10.25"

Price: SOLD (includes shipping to lower 48 conus)

The blade is flat ground with a convex edge. It is "scary sharp." Fits in a Spec Ops sheath or similar. Scales are secured by 3 stainless steel 303 rivets.

First, "I'll take it" is the new owner.

I have to take it-----you're just one of those "way too much knife for the money" makers. :)

Thanks for the feedback!

This knife is sold pending funds.

The edge is finished with a 120 grit ceramic belt and stropped real good. Makes a nice toothy, yet polished edge that just wants to cut. :)

That Knife Is a "Beauty" That's the kind of Toothy Edge that Grab's and Cut's like a Razor "The Best Edge for Cutting Meat ! You did a Beautiful Job on this one,

This showed up today, and it's about as perfect an all-arounder as you're likely to find. Distal taper makes it very slim out front for very precise work, but has enough beef back towards the handle to let you push on it for the rougher cutting. Feels great in the hand, and one of those rare knives that needs absolutely NO help from me as far as it matching my preferences in edge geometry. This is a scalpel.

Like I said, the amount of knife to amount of money ratio here is very high (knew that before it showed up from prior experience), and I'm very happy to see Marcus up on these boards again...it's been too long.
