Practice Dagger

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I have all the parts made for the test dagger I think it was really good to do the practice dagger, I learned a lot about what I wanted in the dagger and and how to get there in the last three days I did what took over a week on the first one. I guess once I knew where I was going it was easier to get there. There is still a tone of work to do but it dose not seem like work as I am starting to enjoy the process

Good on ya, Dave

Can't wait to see what you come up with for the real thing - I'm sure it will be unmistakably "Dave Lisch"

Thanks Bill I am going to keep this one under wraps until june so I can have a pro shoot it.

Very nice I will look forward to seeing the test one in June. I am sure it will be fantastic. The bigger guard give it that true weapon look.

Dave, I just love the way you are going to keep us all in suspense. We all know it will well worth the wait. I will be there in the waiting area when you come out of the Judging room with the triple wide smile.

Thanks again

Dave, I only see one thing wrong with the dagger, and that is it does not belong to me! Beautiful dagger and outstanding workmanship. A dagger just like this is what started me in knife making 25 years ago, ordered this exact knife( Damascus, fluted ebony, butt cap) from a knife maker in North Georgia, what I got was NOTHING like what I ordered. It's a real joy to see it come to life, Thanks.

This is really cool Dave. I can't wait to see what you come up with for your test dagger. Your damascus is always amazing and I'm sure your test piece will not disappoint!
