Had some kill time this afternoon at work and took the afternoon off to enjoy the sun with the dogs. We went over to Ojibway prairie so they could romp in the wet. It's still blah here, not much sign of green, but the bigger prairie is still nice to be in. Spring peepers are peeping away like nuts. Saw a few cotton tails but didn't come across any deer.

Lots of the lowland areas are swampy and flooded right now.

I climbed up over this stump, to see if I could 'stump' beta. No go. She just popped over it with really breaking her stride. The dark shape in the background of the first shot below is beta taking a leap. The third one is her just hitting the ground.

Found this little guy, but he was skittish and not much in a posing mood.

Gotta have a few knife shots. I was carrying my Breeden pathfinder and CKE2 bushcrafter today.

You and your dogs ALWAYS look like you're having blast out there. That pathfinder is a cool looking knife and looks super comfortable in hand.
