Prayer for my wife please ...

I don't post much, but I thought I'd share a prayer request. I would like to ask for my wife, Kate to be brought to God in prayer. She is currently inpatient at in an eating disorder program, and has been so for the past three weeks. I would ask that you ask our Lord to heal her physically and mentally from this terrible affliction of anorexia. Please lift Kate up to our Lord for strength of heart and soul, for clearness of vision and for courage to keep moving forward through this darkness into a real life. Ask for God to give her peace to let this remorseless illness go - to break through the walls that keep her from health and a life that serves others.

Prayers and smoke, brother. My cousin suffered from the very same illness. It almost killed her while she was in college. The good news is that she managed to pull herself together, graduate college, graduate medical school, become a competent physician, and recently got married and became a mom. I do not understand what causes this disorder, though I can relate to the total lack of appetite. Just stand by her as you have vowed to do. As I said, smoke and prayers.
 
Prayers sent in the name of Jesus Christ for your time in need. Stay strong and supportive, as I am sure you will.
