Chuck took me to see the gynecological oncologist Thursday. He's pretty sure this is another "cancerous" tumor, just like the one I had in 2000. I am told this type of tumor is called "cancer" due to the recurrence. These tumors don't usually spread -- they just come back!! Once the tumor is removed, there is usually no additional treatment needed. Of course, there could still be future recurrence, but I'm praying NOT!! I should have my surgery date by Monday, and will keep everyone informed. It will be at St. Francis Hospital in Southport (Indy), and I will be in for 3-4 days.

Barb, I'm hopeful that this is the case and that you don't have any more recurrences.
