My wife had her thyroid biopsy done last Wednesday. Of the three areas they were only able to biopsy two as the third was so deep even with repeated attempts they were unable to access it.

They just called a few minutes ago with the results and the biopsies came back cancer free.
Praise the Lord, our prayers and all those who said a prayer for her were answered.

You really don’t know how much the prayers and the well wishing has meant to us. She will have to repeat the ultra sound in six months so as too keep an eye on the three areas!:thumbup::)
 
The power of prayer is what will get you through this. Our thoughts and prayers from Southern Illinois are with you and your family..
 
That is really great. God has indeed smiled upon your wife and you. Now take a little time off to recoup. Take your wife somewhere she wants to go. Enjoy it, then get your old butt back to work. You've got knives to make.

after sending you the email, I found this thread. Thank you Lord! I'm happy to hear that it came back cancer free. I'll pray that it stays that way and that you and your family find comfort, strength and courage you may need to carry on each day.

It can be very very hard to be the caretaker of someone that has bad medical conditions. In that respect, I think I might know a little about some of the feelings you may have. I'm also a care giver. It can be rough sometimes. If you ever would like to talk, please don't hesitate to let me know. Maybe we can meet for coffee sometime.

Lord, please watch over these two people. Let her cancer never come back. Please be with those helping and watching over her. Please also be with her husband. Please give him the strength to carry on, to be there for his wife and their family. Please ease his mind, hold and build him up. Please give him the strength to carry on, doing all the things he needs to do for him and his family. I ask all this if it would be thy will. In Christs name I pray, Amen.
