Prayer Request

That's really great that Hanna has so many loved ones around her giving her support, I'll keep praying.
John Smith

Prayer sent for Hanna's recovery. May God give your family strength and comfort during this time, friend. Best wishes.

Hanna`s breathing did not improve today, but she was in good spirits, and very chatty. Connie and I bought her a Baby Alive doll, and some fuzzy slippers and a new nightgown, and Alison brought her a stuffed Scooby Doo, and some Scooby coloring books. She told us the "escape plan" she has. She is going to build a robot that looks like her and leave it in her bed so she can go home with us. It`s all you can do to keep from breaking down crying in front of her, but you can`t. I love her so much.

I cannot imagine how hard it must be for you. Stay strong. Cry when you need to, yell at us if you need to. Make sure she knows that she is not alone though.
I know you don't need advice from me but if you need to talk to or yell at or just be supported you know that we are here.

What that man said.

I cannot imagine how hard it must be for you. Stay strong. Cry when you need to, yell at us if you need to. Make sure she knows that she is not alone though.

Thinking of Hanna this evening - hope she and Hayley are doing well - I know it would be rough on Hayley too - I have never seen them apart.

I talked to John today - she is a little trooper but it is very sad that she is so ill.

Keep those prayers and wishes coming - I gotta believe it helps.

best

Hayley is being a "big sister" trying to help, and playing games with Hanna. She does not really understand what is going on, she is only 9. On Monday a therapist will be talking to her and Hanna, to try to explain things, like what to expect, like the changes Hanna will be going through, like moodiness, chubbiness, clumsiness, and hair loss. Today was pretty good, she got her first real food (try explaining to a 7 year old why she has not been fed in 4 days), and she kept it down for a while before throwing up. She starting the day with the oxygen machine set at 10 (started at 25 or 30 on Tuesday, I think), and by tonight it was down to 2. She may leave PICU tomorrow for a regular room. I also believe prayer and well wishes help, they did when Connie was told she would not get better, she has proved the doctors wrong two years in a row.

My best wishes remain with you all.
Remember to take care of yourself, so that you can take care of her. She has a bunch of people cheering and praying for her.
Thank you for keeping us posted.

thanks for the updates John - she is still in our thoughts here, too.

She and all of your family are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

More smoke for Hanna & family.
