We're home now, thank God. We really appreciate everyone's prayers and well wishes. I'm to exhausted right now to go into details but once I have my thoughts together I'd like to complete this thread.
Hopefully I can add a few things that will help others going through health issues, similar or not.

Thanks, I don't think he's digging the new haircut but once the swelling goes down and the stitches disintegrate I think he'll look fine. Probably going to buzz the rest of his hair shorter in a couple of days.

Funny PhotoShop there. He does seem to prefer spydercos over my traditional knives. Probably because the spyder hole allows him to open them. Under supervision of course, he knows he's only allowed to touch them after asking first.
