Prayers for my son

As a father of three, I'm glad that your boy came through this surgery so well; from Panamá, our best wishes for a prompt and complete recovery.

Sorry for the delay in updating this post. They moved my son out of ICU into a regular room this evening. We're still working on a few things, but your prayers have made a world of difference. I cannot begin to express our thanks for you all. God Bless.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

As an abnormally young cardio patient myself and a new parent I cannot imagine the weight that you bear. Your son is in my family’s prayers and may his parents remain strong. Stay positive and soon enough he'll be causing you headaches regarding girls, cars, and all the usual teenager things. May this quickly be behind you.

Our son just came out of surgery and everything went great! He had an adult sized valve installed. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

I just saw this. That's great news.

I had open heart surgery 13 years ago at 57. Most of the guys in my rehab were older and had valves replaced. They all did pretty well. At 16, your son should do well.

My apologies for posting up late in your thread. Seems it has been awhile since I checked into Community...

Glad to hear everything went well for your son. Being a parent, I can't imagine what it has been like, having to deal with that.

Again, I can't express the heartfelt gratitude for you prayers/thoughts for our son. He is home now, and you would never know he had surgery to look at him. The valve that was replaced was quite bad and Mason can already feel the difference. God has truly blessed my family. Thank you all again. God Bless you all.

First let me say "God bless you, your your son and family. Prayers and Smoak to you.
Fivefold over on the "wilderness and survival equipment forum" your name was drawn for my giveaway. Send me an email. I'll include a second slingshot for your son. Should be something Y'all can do while he's recovering.
