I donated a kidney to my wife 6 years ago--Happily Married for 9 years She is my WORLD.......
For the most part.. Most of the 6 years have been GREAT..No major medical issues.
2012 was fairly BAD...Elevated white blood counts-infections--A HUGE SCARE OF Lymphoma
Removal of 6 Lymph Nodes in her neck All NON CANCEROUS. Praying helped..
Talk about testing my Sobriety of 7 years.. Stayed SOBER By the way..
Just last week she was feeling not well
Took her to he nephrologist (kidney doc)
Put her in hospital asap. White Blood Count thru the roof
5 days in the hospital.. Get Blood Cultures back She contracted Ecoli...........??
No Rhyme or reason Not even sure how she got it.
BUT the antibiotics in IV form got it under control.

Im sorry for being long winded..
I am by far a perfect person and I know I still have my faults and since I have been sober I do my best to TRY TO DO MY BEST to make certain I can help my wife in any way I CAN.. Whether it being working 2-3 jobs (to help with her medications or hospital bills) or simply rubbing her feet.
Often I feel I do the best I can and I simply experience LIFE on LIFES TERMS.. And often I believe I am NEVER GIVEN MORE THAN I CAN HANDLE.

I thank you all for your time and I appreciate being apart of this great place. I truly enjoy my Time Here..

I would be GRATEFUL for any PRAYERS.

Smoke and prayers from NEPA goin out for you and your wife Keith, I know it can be trying, keep the faith, the collective prayer power of this community is awesome.

With the Big Guy's help you'll get through this.

Positive thoughts from the Pleasant Valley for you both....

Prayers sent.

PLEASE CONSIDER ORGAN DONATIONS..YOU CANT TAKE YOUR ORGANS WITH YOU TO HEAVEN..YOUR ORGANS SAVE LIVES...I SAVED MY WIFE BY GIVING HER A KIDNEY 6 YEARS AGO......At the very least Consider it

I would for sure consider it, but sadly as I am on blood thinners (heart valve replacement with a mechanical one), this is no longer an option for me. But for those who it is an option, please, please, please consider it. If it wasn't for people willing to do this, there are many people that wouldn't be here today.

All of you are so very kind I thank you all.
I donated a kidney to her.. Because not only because she was my BRIDE.. Because its the right thing to do.. For her or a Stranger..
I am so very grateful for all of your kind thoughts and prayers..
