Will keep you in my prayers, Pappy. Keep in touch. :(
I don't know what happened here Mamav. zzzzzzzzzzhopr yhr mrdd fifn'y wipr you out all togather

I thank you all. It doesn't really matter which way the scale is tipped right now, I have no choice but, to keep on "hookin and Jabbin". Like our Esteemed Leader says. It's not over till It's over.

I hope the few hollidays that all have had treated everyone well. I hope I can gett used to this new forum setup pretty soon.

I talked with Pappy about an hour from 2 PM to 3 his time, I think. He sounded good.

What's funny was his telling of his Wife's cooking. Once she heard the Doctor say he needed to gain weight she's been on a mission. She comes home from work and starts feeding him apple pie and ice cream. He forces himself to eat. If you think about it, with all the cell death, if Pappy can gain weight it means he's winning some of the battle.

Smoke sent for both of you ( Pappy and Uncle ) whether you want it or not! ;)

Smoke and prayers sent, Pappy. If I were in your situation, I would certainly take advantage of wolfing down all the apple pie and ice cream that came within 50 feet of me! :D Excellent weight gain diet, and super tasty too...

Dan :)

I'm planning on doing a puja later today. Will be thinking of Dhaju (Uncle Bill) and Pappy.

Hang in there!

I've hated life too. When I was on my way to the Happy Hunting Grounds back in 1989 and given a choice to stay. I decided it wasn't so bad after all.
Sometimes you want to go home, other times you just want to hang around and enjoy what you can.

Pappy, A friends wife is a cancer surviver, it was touch and go for a while but when I was recovering from my little accident so we she. She is doing really good now, 1.5 years later. Hope you make as good a recovery as she did. :D God bless and good luck.

And again Saturday. Face it Pappy, we ain't giving up on you. ;) Or Bill. :p

Pappy, I know what you're up against. I've found that trying to eat when you are not hungry is one of the toughest assignments there is. Are you on an appetite enhancer? I am and it helps some but not enough. When I can't eat I try to drink Boost to get some nutrition and calories. And, I eat ice cream with chololate syrup any time I'm able to get it down, day, night and in between.

Hang in and drop a line.

I don't think Pappy comes on line much. Maybe someone could print out these messages and mail them to him? (My printer is keppuuttt, or I would.)

One of the hardest parts of convelescence is the isolation. Without meaning to, folks express their sympathy, and then don't check back in. "Alone" takes on new meaning when you are seriously ill.

Justathought.
