My wife will probably kill me for this, but one of her Kindergarten students is in the hospital undergoing surgery to take care of some serious medical problems. Today was her 6th birthday.
Here is the e-mail that she (with Mom and Dad's help) sent to us.
" First thing this morning my doctor and all the student doctors sang happy birthday to me. I feel so much better. I was a little sad about not getting to go Chucky Cheese for my birthday but then my doctor surprised me with pizza for lunch. In the afternoon Mrs. W______, my teacher came to visit me. She brought me the Mini Mouse doll in this picture. She also brought me a card from my classmates. They each drew a happy picture to make me feel better. Grandpa and Grandma B_____ came to visit me. Now they are taking me for my first walk. Thank you for your prayers. I feel happy today.
