Prayers needed for george!!!

Thanks guys, things are getting better every day. The pain is going down and I am getting a lot of sleep.

Got my latest blood tests tonight and things are going back to normal so I hope to be getting into work on a part time basis shortly but it will take months until the blood is re-adsorbed into my system and I will be sore for a longer time than I anticipated..

Got out to the Every other Tuesday night coffee break tonight, for a while at least so there is hope that I will be able to return to work sooner than I had anticipated.

A little late here...

I just read this and am sorry I didn't see it sooner. George, I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Your old pal,
Craig

Thanks guys.

I started back to work yesterday, working 4 hour days to get my endurance back . So far everthing appears to be working normally and no residual pain,

The only discomfort is when I am trying to sleep. That is caused by the amount of blood that pooled in my abdomen during the bleed, about half of my supply. Until this is reabsorbed into the system I will be very uncomfortable so the doctors say.

Now I have to catch up without pushing it too hard.

Official Update on George:

As George tends to downplay many things I thought I would pop in and give an "Official" update.

Last week was George's first serious attempt at going back to work. Our days were 2 1/2 hrs, than home for lunch and a good long nap in the afternoon.

He's actually doing well all things considered. We have ordered a riot vest for him to wear when at the grinder but it will be another 4 wks before it arrives.
In the meantime I am doing my best to keep him away from there.

Each week we will be adding hours to the work days to eventually bring him back to our full day. Some days he finds more difficult than others and we just leave earlier. His health comes before all else.

George has another CTScan or Ultra Sound to check out the injured area.
The Surgeon, family Dr. and ourselves do not agree on the next course of action so time will tell.

In the meantime, George appears to be recovering, albeit slowly (to us) but medically they feel he is miles ahead of what others would be. So for that we are grateful. It is just wonderful to have George home :)

George and I are also very appreciative of all the support we have received from everyone. Prayers, positive thoughts and open support have played an important part in our survival of this latest challenge. "Thankyou"

Carol :):)
