Thanks all. Arvind brought sad news but it looks like the best of a bad situation has taken place and I'm convinced the prayers helped. Life must go on.

Thanks again for all the prayers and support. I found out from India that my brother-in law is conscious and is able to speak now. He did ask for his son to find out how he was. As of yet, he does not know about the death of his wife and we advised them against letting him know about the death until he is fully recovered because of his still being very weak. He lost a considerable lot of blood but for the most part, I think he will pull out of this in one piece.
