I talked to Jim`s son Rob last night, and he said his Dad has turned the corner and it looks like he is on his way to recovering. When we talked a few days earlier, it did not look too good. If all goes well Jim will be getting out in a couple of weeks.

Thank God. Thank you John, I've really been worried.
 
I just got off the phone with Jim. He says he feels better, but will stay in the hospital a while longer, untill everything gets under control. Just the fact that he is answering the phone is good news, he has basically been out of it for a while. I also talked with his wife, she says she can tell he is feeling a little better by the way he acts.
 
I hate to keep bugging you but is there any new news?
 
I hope this means he is living well. I will keep him in my prayers.

Got an email last night from Jim`s son.

Hi, John. Just wanted to let you know Dad is in a nursing home where he's getting really good physical therapy. With any luck he might be back home for good in a few weeks, just depends on how the PT goes. He's sounding like his old self again and chomping at the bit to get out. He's even talking about knives again- I take that as a good sign.
